This is our lunch menu. I found this recipe from Cookpad, my bible for finding recipes. This definitely not Indonesian food, soon will be sharing more Indonesian food, so you guys can try it at home. Still learning how to make it more simple and easy (yeap! Indonesian food using lots of herbs that sometimes makes me confused. haha)

  • 2 pack of chinese tofu
  • shrimp (finely sliced)
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 leeks, finely chopped
  • celery leaves


  • 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 200 ml of water


  • cook tofu until golden brown
  • mix all the sauce ingredients until combined
  • saute onions and garlic until fragrant, put the shrimp and cook until the color turn into pink
  • put in the celery & leeks, stir
  • check the flavor (you can add pinch of seasalt or sugar if it’s too salty)
  • put the tofu in, cook for few seconds, serve with rice.
